Lower the car with the car jack until the tire touches the ground.
Make sure that the vehicle does not rest its full weight on the newly replaced tire, as the lug nuts are not securely fastened and might cause the car to collapse on that side.
Using the cross lug nut wrench, tighten the lug nuts in a star pattern.
Once the lug nuts are securely tightened, lower the car to the ground completely and remove the car jack.
Ensure that the tire is correctly aligned with the frame of the vehicle and that there are no issues with the substitute tire.
